educator and researcher from Houston Texas. She is the founder of production company, Studio Enertia.
Li is the 2021 recipient of the Dorothea Tanning Award for Music/ Sound, awarded by the Foundation for Contemporary Arts and a 2021 Texas Vignette Artist Grant winner.

Beautiful music for our challenging times. Unique voices like Mitchell and Harris provide what little hope is possible. I love how, in their unique way, they incorporate, along with so much else, the spirit of Sun Ra, one of my primary musical heros. Intriguing, enchanting and terrifying all at once. To me it's the perfect soundtrack I'd envision for waking up in a strange nation and not knowing the name of the place, or any contextual understanding about the culture, or even remembering how you got there in the first place. It has the capacity to be a negative or positive experience in equal measure, a testament to the two talented women behind this record.
